Fry Systems has just reached its 20-year milestone and they have labelled that as an“Achievements for their Clients” because their whole focus has been on the end client – their organisational goals – and in maximising their gain from Fry Systems efforts.

Key to their performance has been the Microsoft tool-sets around Visual Studio, SQLServer and MS Office, which taken together, empower them to deliver. They have overlayed that with a tight and deliberately small group of people for each project, and a full implementation of Agile methods – supported by a strong methodology which has been developed over 20 years. The delivery of rapidly developed, progressive versions in line with a general Strategic direction has done much to create the atmosphere of trust with their clients.

Inherent in their approach is their ability to go beyond the presented scope and leverage the solution for their client. They do not believe that the client can always appreciate the full scope of what can be delivered, nor can the software vendors. It is up to Fry Systems to solve the client’s intractable problems and promote those solutions.

In 2005, they introduced a strong element of Knowledge Management to all that they do – which has broadened our solution scope. Under the banner of “Tools and Teams for Knowledge” we have successfully delivered solutions and been directly involved in transforming their clients as leaders in their field – whether in the private or public sector.

This area will grow rapidly in 2009/2010 as we deliver the Semantic Web and other Knowledge related advances.
